Desbordes began his foray into the world of comedy on October 2, 2017, when he began posting sketches and other comic content on his Instagram account under the alias “druski2funny.” He then changed his name to Druski, which is now his sole name. In the beginning, his skits comprised portrayals of characters such as the frat brother Kyle Rogger and a no-nonsense record label boss, in addition to personas such as Bubba Joe, which quickly struck a chord with a big audience.
Druski’s path began to collide with the rise of Jack Harlow, who was just beginning his career at the time. As a result, Druski began to take on duties as an opener and host for Harlow’s performances. On October 22, 2020, he had a cameo appearance in the music video for Jack Harlow’s song “Tyler Herro” as a school bus driver. This served to further increase his profile in the public eye. Through the announcement of “Sneakin’ In With Druski” in 2021, Druski’s star continued to rise. This series was a collaboration between Diddy’s Revolt and Adidas, and Druski would serve as the affable host of the show. Snoop Dogg, Teyana Taylor, and Yung Miami from City Girls were among the guests that appeared on the show, which was a huge success when it first aired and received a lot of praise. At the same time, Desbordes conceived of the satirical record label “Coulda Been Records” as a venue for artists to interact with him on Instagram Live, which frequently resulted in humorous conversation. When Desbordes established “4lifers entertainment” in 2023, he expanded his entrepreneurial footprint by establishing an umbrella organization that houses his various commercial interests. These business ventures include live touring, TV/Film/Web productions, merchandise, licensing, and Coulda Been Records. With this move, Druski has demonstrated his progression from a social media comic to a versatile entertainment magnate, and he is now in a position to leave an everlasting mark on the industry for many years to come.
