The young New York girl, who is nine years old, was taken away from her family while they were out camping on Saturday night when they were stolen by an unknown person. The New York State Police are actively trying to find her at this time.
Charlotte Sena was last seen this evening around 6:15 p.m. in the Moreau Lake State Park, which is located in Saratoga County, roughly 50 miles north of Albany, and is the location of the park in question. She paired an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt with a green bike helmet, dark blue tights, and a green tie-dyed Pokemon shirt. Her outfit was completed with a green tie-dyed Pokemon shirt. She is described as having blonde hair, measuring 5 feet and one inch in height, and weighing 90 pounds, according to the authorities.
In connection with the inquiry, the New York State Police issued an Amber Alert on Sunday morning, soon after 9:30 a.m. local time. The alert was issued in the state of New York. They explained that it was “for a child abduction” that had occurred at 6:45 p.m. the evening before.
The information that was supplied in the Amber Alert states that “The child was taken in a way that makes police think that they are in immediate danger of serious harm and/or death.”
Following what Lieutenant Colonel Richard Mazzone described as a “extensive search” of the park on Sunday, law enforcement officers concluded that it was “quite possible” that Charlotte had been taken by an unknown party. This remark was issued by Mazzone to the various media outlets.
“Like any other parents, all we want is for her to make it back to our house in one piece,” they said. “Please call if you know anything at all; no tip is too small,” the Sena family said in a message to NBC News. “No tip is too small.” The family continued by saying, “No tip is too small,” which was their final point.
The information that Charlotte and her family had gone camping was disclosed to the press by Governor Kathy Hochul. The location of the camping trip was only fifteen minutes away from the house in which Charlotte and her sisters had spent their youth. At the news conference, the governor indicated that just before Charlotte went missing, she and some family friends had been bicycling around Loop A of the park. The governor also stated that Charlotte had been missing for approximately one week. She added that she desired to finish the last circuit all by herself.

Her parents and the other campers in the area started looking for her and calling her name after they waited for her for fifteen minutes and saw that she still hadn’t returned. According to Mazzone, it was 6:45 o’clock in the evening when Charlotte’s bicycle was found on the loop. It wasn’t even two minutes later when her mother called 911 to report that her daughter had disappeared. She said that she couldn’t find her. Hochul stated that state police arrived at the scene at seven o’clock in the evening.
Hochul added that since that time, over one hundred people, including seventy-five police officers, have been actively searching for the missing individual. In total, there are over one hundred people looking for the missing person. In addition, there are two unmanned aerial vehicles, two boats, and a total of six individuals collaborating to save persons who are submerged in water. In addition to it, a command post may now be found at the state park.
According to the Governor, information technology professionals were approached “to look at other ways of communicating in the park at that time.” Mazzone did not disclose any additional information and refused to do so when asked.
Hochul added that she had a conversation with Charlotte’s “distraught” parents early on Sunday and promised them that the authorities will find their daughter. Charlotte was reported missing on Friday.
“As a mother and a grandmother, I can’t even begin to understand how much pain they must be in,” the governor continued. “I can’t even begin to fathom how much suffering they must be going through at this point.”
She further added that “they told me how happy they are because their little girl was just elected as a class officer for student council.” This was in addition to what she had previously expressed.
Hochul pleaded with anyone who had any information or who had any cause to believe that they may have witnessed something to get in touch with the appropriate authorities as soon as possible.
I questioned her about it, and in response, she said, “Hearts are broken here today in New York.” “I have high hopes that there will be a family get-together, and I have high hopes that a family that has been through so much will be reunited,” the speaker said. “I have high hopes for both of these things.”
