Jonathan Majors Cries
Jonathan Majors expressed his astonishment at the verdict of the jury in the initial interview.
In his first interview since his conviction for assault and harassment in December, Jonathan Majors, who is known for his roles in “Creed III” and multiple Marvel productions, disputed that he had physically abused his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
During the interview, Majors shared his thoughts with Linsey Davis, an anchor for ABC News. “I was absolutely shocked and afraid,” Majors said, and portions of the interview were shown on “Good Morning America” yesterday morning.
As I have been standing there, the verdict has been handed out. I respond by asking, “How is that even possible, taking into account the evidence, the evidence presented by the prosecution, and even our own evidence?” Why is it even a possibility?’”
“In many different ways, this has been very, very, very difficult and confusing,” he said. “It has been very, very, very difficult.”
Hard Time for Majors
It has been less than a month since Majors was found guilty of one harassment violation and one misdemeanor assault offense, both of which arose from an incident he had with Jabbari. Majors’s statements come after the verdict was handed down. A second allegation of misdemeanor assault and an extra charge of aggravated harassment were both dismissed at the conclusion of the jury’s deliberations. For the attack, the actor could face a maximum sentence of one year in prison, in addition to a maximum sentence of three years of probation. There is a scheduled sentence for him on February 6th.
During his interview with ABC, Majors denied any responsibility for the injuries that Jabbari sustained. In addition, he questioned the choice that the jury had made and pondered the possibility that the outcome would have been different if he had made the decision to end his connection with Jabbari even earlier.
Ahead of his sentencing, actor Jonathan Majors has confessed that he was careless in his romantic relationships.
The statement that Majors made was, “I was reckless with her heart, not with her body.”
“I ought to have shown more bravery. My response should have been, “No, this is not going to work.” As for me, I ought to have gone away, but I didn’t,” he claimed, adding later, “If I leave the relationship, none of this is going to happen.”
An argument between the actor and Jabbari led to his detention in March of 2023. When Jabbari discovered that Majors was receiving a flirtatious text from another person, she allegedly made an attempt to take Majors’ phone away from him. According to the prosecution, Majors broke his then-girlfriend’s finger during their argument over the phone and attempted to force her back into the vehicle after she attempted to follow him out of it. This occurred after she had attempted to follow him out of the vehicle. The defense attorneys representing Majors asserted that the actor was the victim of the event, alleging that Jabbari assaulted Majors after she became aware of the text message.

The video footage from that evening shows Jabbari and Majors arguing outside of a black SUV. After the argument, Majors picked up Jabbari and compelled her to get back into the vehicle where she was sitting. After then, the videos show Majors sprinting down the street while Jabbari is following after him.
During the interview that took place on Monday, Majors stated, “If you watch those videos and you reverse that, and you saw a Black man chasing a young White girl down the street, screaming, crying — that man is going to be shot and killed in the streets of New York City.”
With regard to Jabbari’s injuries, Majors stated that he was uncertain about their origin. “I wish to God that I had known. To clarify, that would be helpful. It would provide me with a sense of tranquility on the matter,” he stated.
“I Loved Her So Much”
“[I] have never struck a female. He stated, “My hands have never, ever struck a woman in my entire life.”
The attorney for Jabbari, Brittany Henderson, issued a statement in response to the interview, stating that Majors is not accepting responsibility for his acts.
Throughout the entirety of this judicial process, he has maintained an attitude that is above the law, and his denigration of our jury system is not different to that approach. Considering the timeliness of these new utterances, it is evident that he does not feel any remorse for the conduct for which he was found guilty, and this should make the decisions for his sentence quite straightforward for the court.
Majors’, who was on the verge of playing the Marvel supervillain Kang the Conqueror in the “Avengers” films, had a career that was just beginning to take off until the claims and trial brought it to a halt. After his conviction, however, Marvel Studios made the announcement that it will not continue to work with Majors on any projects in the future. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, Disney, the parent company of ABC News, has also decided to postpone the release of Majors’ upcoming film “Magazine Dreams.”
The ruling of the jury is something that Majors plans to fight, and he expressed his optimism that he would be able to return to Hollywood.
When asked about a return to acting, Majors stated, “I pray that I do.” On the other hand, it is God’s purpose and God’s timing.”
